ibis Bristol Temple Meads

Room was spacious and very clean with excellent Wi-Fi.

Room was larger than I expected. On the 6th floor (of 7) it was quiet. Never cold - you have a thermostat. The windows DO open! (I need fresh air) The bathroom made me laugh - a plastic pod with everything I needed - hot water with good pressure. Like showering on a train. I wanted to be close to the train station, it's 2 blocks away, but there is really no good place to eat without walking about a mile. Eat dinner elsewhere and walk or UBER home. I felt safe walking the hood after dark. The canals, churches and bridges are magical. I'm a 66 y/o woman, but I rarely stay out after 9 pm. I wasn't going to pay 12 quid for a brekkie bar BUT great coffee and pastry at Origins Coffee. A quick walk across the canal and past the Temple. The way to start your day.

Huge room, perfect location and friendly staff. Right next to Bristol temple meads station and local cafes.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful, partner injured himself on way back to the hotel and they gave me ice that we needed and even offered to call an ambulance if needed. This injury WASN'T in the hotel but on the return. We paid for Breakfast Buffet with our stay, which was always full. Containing full English breakfast, muffins and pastries, baguettes and white/brown bread, fresh fruit salad and deli items, a variety of juices. They also had gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options available upon request.

My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good selection of food and drinks at the breakfast buffet. Hours to eat were also suitable for my needs as an early riser. Very nice and helpful staff and extremely easy and fast check in /check out.
